Whenever compressor is connected with SmartCom app, SmartCom app is also trying to connect and communicate with Us Air Compressor Cloud. The communication happens as restoring necesary data to Us Air Cloud or having updates uploaded and data read by Us Air Compressor cloud. The amount of updates / commands to be uploaded to compressor and to the Us Air Compressor cloud are shiwn on windows application as in the previous video. At mobile devices, there are 2 numbers separated by “/” located on the right side of the serial number shown at the top of the app.

  • If updates commands section shows 0/0, there is no updates or commands to be executed,
  • If the digit on the left of “/” sign larger than 0, there are that much of updates / commands to be executed on the compressor,
  • If the digit on the right of “/” sign larger than 0, there are that much of updates / commands to be written back to Us Air Compressor cloud.
If there are updates / commands at left or right side of the “/” sign, or a number on the respective portion of the windows computer display;
  • do not disconnect the app from the compressor,
  • SmartCom app may ask you to stop the compressor. That means hit the start button on the compressor and wait till all updates commands are executed, hence the updates/commands section turns into 0/0.
  • In many occasions SmartCom app will ask you to turn off the power completely from the breaker and wait till all the lights go off on the compressor display. Once all the display goes blank, compressor can be repowered. That is called hard reset.
