Once the compressor is correctly linked to a compressor, the SmartCom app should display the compressor’s serial number along with the pressure and temperature values. If this information is not visible, the SmartCom connection is not established correctly, even if the button label indicates it’s connected.

When the compressor is connected to the SmartCom app, it automatically establishes a connection with the US Air Compressor servers. It continuously records and checks compressor data at a rate of 2-3 times per second. This data is logged for future diagnostics, but it won’t be recorded unless the SmartCom app is successfully connected to the compressor and the internet.

Apart from continuously monitoring data, the system may require additional information or updates based on usage, operating hours, and environmental conditions. If there’s a need for bidirectional communication between the server and the compressor, the compressor should be paused but not powered down until all communication is completed. When such communication is necessary, you will notice two numbers displayed in the format X/Y on the right side of the serial number in the SmartCom app for Android or Apple apps. The Windows app promptly displays update commands with suitable labels.

If you see a number in the format X/Y instead of 0/0, it indicates that there are X pending commands to be executed and Y results to be reported back to the US Air Compressor servers. In such a situation, pause the compressor but keep it powered on until all the commands are executed in both directions, at which point X/Y will return to 0/0.
If there is a number in the format of X/Y instead of 0/0, there is X amount of commands are waiting to be executed and Y amounts of results to be registered back to Us Air Compressor servers. Under such circumstance stop the compressor but keep it powered up till all the commands are executed in any direction so that X/Y returns to 0/0.

It is essential to halt the compressor whenever servicing it or purchasing parts for maintenance. Ensure that the SmartCom app remains connected for 2-3 minutes to guarantee that all service and parts data are properly registered in the compressor and the system.
