Hour meter Total Run Hours

There is an internal timer in compressor counting the hours when compressor is running. Total compressor runnig hours does not count when the compressor is not running, or in the sleep mode.

Off Load Timer Sleep mode

When there is no air demand, pressure will increase 8PSI (0.5Bar) above the PSET of the compressor. Compressor will start discharging excess air produced. As soon as the frequency that compressor is running goes down to minimum frequency compressor is designed, there is an off load timer starts counting down. If pressure does not reduce below PSET or frequency of the compressor does not increase, at the end of count down time, compressor goes in to Sleep mode. Compressor will automatically revive when pressure in the system reduces to PSET – 8PSI (0.5Bar).

If compressor internal temperature is below minimum Offload timer will not start count down. Compressor will keep running till internal temperature of the compressor reaches to designated temperature. That is called heating function which prevents water condensation inside the compressor.

Service hours Time to next PM Service

Compressor automatically calculates the hours left for the next PM. Whenever SmartCom app is connected to compressor through the Bluetooth and the Us Air Compressor servers through internet, the next PM service time is calculated. The hours left to service is shown on the SmartCom app. When service hours left to service is negative value, compressor is switched into protective mode automatically.
