!In protected mode compressor reduces the capacity of the air flow which may result low pressures reached. Trying to increase pressure in the compressed air system by increasing the desired pressure setting (PSET) of the compressor cause less pressure in the system as compressor will be reducing the air flow further below to adjust itself for higher pressure setting.
!App required to connect to the compressor and connect compressor to U.S. Air Cloud system (SmartCom App) can be downloaded from “U.S. Air Compressor Website” https://www.usaircompressor.com/smartcom.
*Once E50 error appears and compressor goes into protected mode (Type 1 and Type 2 Inverters), compressor can be used in protected mode for some hours based on the compressor internals and/or the PM required (depending on the compressor hours / operation and the service required, E50 protective mode may start and last 50 hours to 400 hours). During this protected mode period, letters F, L, A, P, h, t explaining the kind of value shown at the left most digit on the compressor display will appear only for 5 seconds then letter E replaces the appropriate letter to warn the user compressor is in protected mode. (Type 1 and Type 2 Inverters only)
*Once E50 Error starts showing the E50 Error, Type 3 inverters are flashing error and the actual value. This stage compressor is not in the protective mode. E50 will be shown till the last hour of the compressor where the service is to be performed. When parts are purchased E50 will automatically clear after compressor is connected. (Type 3 inverters only)
!If compressor is not connected and/or serviced at once, compressor will eventually stop and show E49 Error as soon as compressor is powered up. E49 can only be cleared by connecting to the compressor through SmartCom App and compressor is serviced with the original U.S. Air Compressor parts, if needed.
!In order to serve Us Air Compressor customers faster and better tin order to diagnose product related emails(subject or body part) or text message (body part of the picture sending not as a separate message) , compressor serial number must be written in the communication media.
E50 Error pops up for two reasons;
- Compressor service hours left is zero or less hence compressor requires PM and/or
Buy the parts through SmartCom App or by logging into U.S. Air Compressor Members portal. Once the purchase is completed compressor can be updated as serviced with SmartCom App by connecting to the compressor with SmartCom App only. There is no physical control in the compressor if PM is executed or not. Us Air Compressor AI considers that if parts are purchased PM will be executed within the next 10 business days with the parts purchased.
- the limit to hold data in the compressor without exceeding memory capacity in the system is reached because compressor has not been connected to U.S. Air Compressor cloud system for a long time.
Get Connected to U.S. Air Compressor Cloud AI by using SmartCom App. SmartCom App can be downloaded from U.S. Air Compressor Website for IOS, Android and Windows operating system. Some compressor may not be equipped with IOS compatible bluetooth transmitters. Should IOS connection required for such compressors, IOS compatible bluetooth devices can be purchased from U.S. Air Compressor.
When E50 Error is shown for the first time after normal operation, compressor must be hard reset. After hard reset, end every time compressor is powered E50 Error will keep being shown. Wait 30 seconds and hit stop/reset button
reset/stop button to clear the E50 Error and hit Run to start the compressor.
