If there is oil coming out from the Silencer/Muffler attached to the discharge valve/blowdown valve there must be oil carry over to the system as well.

Compressor PM time is reached | Service Compressor with Us Air Compressor original parts and oil. |
Excess amount of oil in the Oil Sump | Check Oil level when Compressor running at the full pressure. Make sure Oil level is visible and within the limits and shown on the gauge |
There is water in the Oil Sump | Drain the whole Oil and change the service kit filters immediately. |
Air Oil separator damaged or clogged | Service the Compressor with Us Air Compressor original parts and oil. |
Tube inside the Air Oil separator is not sucking enough oil |

Check Oil Scavenge line check valve properly installed and working | 1/4” check valve is installed on the Oil Return line. Make sure it is correctly installed so that flow is from the Oil Sump to the Compressor Element and check valve is properly working, not blocked or allowing flow from the Compressor Element to Oil Sump. |
Compressor start stops are too frequent | if emergency button is used to stop the Compressor, do not use the emergency button but use the STOP button on the compressor. Let Compressor warm up to minimum 167F (75C) before it shuts off to avoid water condensation in the Oil Sump. |
Discharge / Blowdown valve is not working properly | Test the valve according to instructions at this link for /d series compressors . |
Compressor runs at high temperature | Check overheating error troubleshooting at the link even though Compressor does not shut off due to over heat |
