The EN608 series inverter has a built-in fan inverter that communicates directly with the main inverter. If this communication is interrupted for any reason, the E-54 error may appear on the display.

Follow the steps below to diagnose and resolve the issue:

Check Input Voltage

  • Ensure the input voltage is within the permissible range. If it’s too high or too low, adjust it to the correct working voltage.

Verify Line Reactor Installation

  • Confirm that the correct line reactor is installed and functioning properly.

Inspect Cooling Fans

  • Make sure the cooling fan(s) are operating correctly.
  • Replace any faulty fan(s) as needed.

Check Communication Connection

  • The fan inverter has a dedicated Ethernet communication terminal.
  • Connect the Ethernet cable to this terminal and observe if any error persists on the display of the compressor.
  • If the error code reappears, please contact US Air Compressor Service Team for further assistance.

Connect the compressor with SmartCom App

  • Try to connect the compressor with the SmartCom app for monitoring.
  • If the Bluetooth module does not power up, check the DC output voltage at the Bluetooth power terminals on the control board.
  • If there is no voltage output, contact the US Air Compressor Technical Support Team for assistance.
